What is the annual MA Fellowship Convention?

The Marijuana Anonymous World Services Convention is the annual recovery and social gathering for all of Marijuana Anonymous. The MAWS Convention is also the largest fund-raising event of the year for Marijuana Anonymous World Services. The Convention includes workshops, speakers, MA meetings, entertainment, and a chance to fellowship with friends and fellows from across the globe. It’s a giant sober party and a great opportunity for community, recovery, and lasting personal connections.

When and where is the convention?

The 2026 Marijuana Anonymous World Services Convention will take place across three days from Friday, October 9th through Sunday, October 11th, 2026.

The event will be hosted at the Hilton Airport Hotel located at 1031 Virginia Ave, Hapeville, GA 30354.

When can I register for the convention? How much will it cost and what's included?

Registration is coming soon! The current cost for full weekend registration is $250, which includes all programming, lunches on Saturday & Sunday, plus a light meal on Friday evening during the reception event. The banquet dinner (separate charge) is $75 per plate.

Single-day registration is also available for those who only wish to attend one or two days.

Should I register if I am not sure I will be able to attend the convention? What is the refund policy?

We hope you will register as soon as you are confident that you are able to attend. Due to the processing fees that are incurred, when refunds are requested, we will have to charge a processing fee due to electronic cash processing fees incurred by the Convention.

Can I just show up at the convention and register then?

We strongly advise that people register in advance, even for day use. Walk-ups will be allowed to register and attend but will not receive the hotel food service (light dinner and lunches) or be able to purchase a banquet dinner due to the need to submit food service orders 72 hours in advance.

When can I book a hotel room?

The Convention Committee has reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $149.00 per room, per night (plus taxes and fees). Once the reserved block has been fully reserved this price may be increased by the hotel.

For those who wish to come early or stay longer in Atlanta, discounted room rates at the host hotel may be available for reservation from October 6th through October 14th.

Travel by Air

The most convenient airport, with a free shuttle to the Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel, is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). We strongly suggest flying to ATL for the easiest access to the convention hotel. The Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel has a shuttle available from ATL to the hotel.
