Track Two: Emotional Regulation

What does it really mean to “sit with” ourselves when discomfort arises? How do we make space for uncomfortable feelings such as anxiety, boredom, fear, insecurity, and cravings without having to numb out, shut down, or become overwhelmed? This relaxed, trauma-informed workshop will provide participants with somatic and mindfulness-based practices to build capacity to be with any difficult feeling, and help it transform. Together we will explore what it means to live safely in our bodies with compassion, curiosity, and authenticity, while creating liberation from addictive patterns.
